Dr. Kristin Neumann
Microbiologist · Co-Founder · Advisory Board Member
Dr. Kristin Neumann holds a PhD in microbiology. Years of laboratory work with bacteria strengthened her long-held ambition to use science to improve people’s lives. Her work on a project addressing antibiotic-resistant bacteria brought her closer to questions about the microbiome and its importance to human health.
As Kristin explored the subject further, she became concerned by how little accessible information was available. She co-founded MyMicrobiome to help close that knowledge gap and make microbiome science easier for people and companies to understand.
As a co-founder and Advisory Board member, Kristin remains involved with MyMicrobiome. She advises the team behind the scenes and continues to represent the company at events and conferences, supporting its mission as a new generation of scientists takes its work forward.
Dr. med. Wolfgang G. Philipp-Dormston
Dermatologist and Allergist · Advisory Board Member
Dr. Wolfgang G. Philipp-Dormston is a dermatologist and allergist whose clinical and academic work brings valuable expertise in skin health to MyMicrobiome’s Advisory Board.
He is a faculty member and lecturer at Witten/Herdecke University in Germany and President of the German Society for Aesthetic Botulinum Toxin Therapy (DGBT). An author and co-author of numerous scientific publications, he brings an established medical and research perspective to questions concerning cosmetics and the skin microbiome.
